which advocates for economic equality across the USA.

Mid South Delta LISC Conference on Sept. 14-15, 2011 in Greenville, Mississippi

We would like to encourage the Delta Grassroots Caucus partners to attend the Mid-South Delta LISC conference in Greenville, Mississippi on Sept. 14-15, 2011. Mid-South Delta LISC engages in a wide range of highly beneficial activities in the Delta region and this will be a great conference.

  • A convening of Mississippi clients of Mid South Delta LISC is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon from Noon until 3:30 PM at Sacred Heart Parish Hall (422 East Gloster Street, Greenville MS) to discuss community development work in Mississippi and to tour the neighborhood of the Greenville Sustainable Community Initiative.

  • A 15th anniversary dinner and celebration is scheduled for Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Greenville Golf and Country Club (2476 Hwy 1 South). A short program of previous and current Mid South Delta LISC leadership will follow dinner. Musical entertainment will be provided by Jazz Persuasion. Pre-registration required by 9-12.

  • Three plenary sessions and a luncheon keynote will fill the day on Thursday (9:00 until 4:00) in the Hafter Room at the Greenville Higher Education Center (2900 A Hwy 1 South)
